Eggplant, aka aubergine! For the first time ever, the share includes locally grown, frozen certified organic eggplant. The full share is: organic eggplant, organic tart cherries, shelled edamame, organic summer squash medley, organic whole tomatoes, blueberries, peaches, and sweet corn. We’ll have extra of all the above items for sale a la carte.
Locavorious who missed last week’s share pick-up at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market be sure to find us this Saturday, Jan 18, 8 am – 1:30 pm.
As before, there will be a recipe handout with ideas and recipes. Locavorious loves to re-use & recycle, so please consider bringing a bag or returning one from last month to re-fill.
