This year’s share will have more organic fruits and veggies than we’ve been able to provide in the past. Big thanks to organic growers such as Tantre, Carol Brooks, Living Stones, and the Tilian Farm Development Center who have made it possible to start filling the freezer with organic, naturally grown food! 100% of the rhubarb and sugar snap peas preserved this spring is organically grown. Every share will include some organic blueberries. It also looks like all of our summer squash and green beans will be organically grown too. Most exciting…for those of you who read to the bottom – frozen, certified organic tart cherries from Michigan’s previous year’s harvest will be in the Winter ’12-13 share!
